This is the first Island Tribe game I've had a chance to play through completely so unfortunately, I can't compare this one to the first Island Tribe for review.  But based on other games I've played like Roads of Rome, I can.  ;)

I enjoyed the game. Realore kept everything that was good about the first game and added a new storyline to keep things interesting. The only thing I thought was mishandled was the pirate. Needing to collect diamonds to pay tolls is a good way to motivate players to collect things, but the pirate appeared way too often and just got annoying after awhile. If he had appeared less I would have been happier. Otherwise I am very pleased with this game.this game is very funny I love
